Nathan Natola has done exceptional work in Digital Film I this quarter and currently has over a 100% grade average!

Rachael Travers is always smiling and laughing, yet she is a dedicated and successful student. Besides participating in student government, Rachael also takes honors and AP classes. She is not only an athlete, but she also works a laborious job. Her achievements are vast both in and out of school and, she is an admirable student.

Matt Pendergast is a great student. In our English class, he is always the first person to speak up and explicate a great Hamlet passage. In many ways, he adds to the class discussion, and hangs on Mr. Walsh's every word. When it comes to Shakespeare, a full commitment is what he's thinking of. Matt also plays guitar in the Pentucket jazz band, and also in the rock group "Kronos.”

Ben Garrett-Levine is very good at computer programming.

Quinton Hart is a very respectful student; he tries very hard in his classes and stays after whenever he has to make up work, or in order to get extra credit.

During the Note-Taking Workshop in the library, Katie Travers, was the most polite, engaged and grateful student.

Every time Edward Guerra comes to the library either out of study hall or with a class he is so polite and respectful. He is a wonderful young man who is a pleasure to be around.

Emma Tipson is an accomplished musician in an orchestra outside of Pentucket, which takes passion, dedication, and discipline---characteristics she brings to the Pentucket community. She also lends her stage talent to Pentucket's theater productions. Emma also gave her time and energy to developing local youth softball players in a Fall League this past season. They are fortunate to have a caring teacher of the game and a leader-by-example of hard-work and a positive attitude. She shows us what it's like for someone to love what they do and be happy to work at it. She does many positive things without being asked.

Kylie O'Maley just earned her second degree black belt in karate. In order to make it to this level, Kylie has had to put in many hours of hard training, as well as complete several hours of community service. Congratulations, Kylie!

Caleb Miller is a very good student. He is very nice. He is funny

Liam Leonard-Solis was one of the highlights of the recent PRHS performance of "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Liam had the courage to put girl make-up on, dress up, and even scream like a girl for his character. He has starred in many plays since the beginning of Middle School at Pentucket. He is also a great guitarist. I am told his performance at 8th grade graduation was amazing.
Liam also always makes everyone around him feel awesome. He's one of those people that walks into the room and just makes people want to smile. Despite being semi-softspoken, he can very often blurt out crazy jokes or move classes through deep discussions. He's an overall completely lovable kid.

Rachel Jenkins is a sophomore who works extremely hard. Between juggling cross-country obligations and tough honors classes, she devotes most of her time to the high school. Hopefully, as it has the past year and a quarter, it will continue to pay off for Rachel- producing excellent grades and a well rounded athlete.

Zoe McKenzie is willing to help out anybody when they need a helping hand. Always positive and ready to learn, Zoe exemplifies a high school student. She was able to come back to school and excel after a benign brain tumor set her back three weeks. This did not let her shirk her duties or responsibilities for her fellow students when she still participated in a group project when she was still recovering.

Her enthusiasm for music is shown when she plays in the concert band and also in pep band at all the football games. She has been recognized for her volunteer work and community service. Two occasions of note were at the Anna Jacques Hospital with some of the other clarinet players playing music for the sick and the infirmed and also recently at the dedication of the Langley Library youth center. Christine is also a great athlete who has represented her school proudly as a member of the cross country team, softball team and track and field teams.
She is truly an achiever and a very positive role model in all aspects of her life. She has a great future ahead of her. I consider Christine a great asset to us all. One who will succeed in any endeavor she decides to undertake in her life.

I broke down on the side of the road the other day, in the middle of nowhere. Alex Stiles walked 4 miles with a tool box and a gas container to help me fix my car. It was 1 in the morning by the time she got to me and probably 40 degrees. I was like "Alex I give up! This is pointless!" Alex responded with, "NO, Absolutely Not! We aren't giving up!" She filled up my gas tank, put in some magic and my car started. –Anonymous

Brandon Conn is in all honors classes and has about all A's. He leads the JV2 soccer team in goals.

September through October 18th

I asked for volunteers to help me in the library and both Laura Kuchar and Alexis Kitsakos gave up a whole study hall period to help me process recycled paper. It is an easy job but I didn't have time to do it so their help was much appreciated. –Ms. Costello

Corey Robichaud had nothing to do one day, so he came to the library and helped process books to get them on the shelves. –Ms. Costello

Brianna Milley works really hard and loves school.

Anthony Mirra is an exceptional person who is dedicated to improving his musical talents above everything else. After deciding last year that he wanted to study music in college, he began to devote numerous hours every week practicing, going to lessons, and participating in jazz band. Last year, due to scheduling conflicts, Anthony was unable to officially take band as a class, but he learned the music during his independent study period and subsequently was able to participate in concerts. He is part of the jazz combo this year, showing that his hard work is paying off. I hope that Anthony achieves his ultimate goal of being accepted into the Berklee College of Music because he absolutely
deserves it.

Kevin MacDonald has demonstrated impressive leadership skills and maturity and made a strong positive impact on all members of his Digital Film class group.

Kylie O'Maley has set many goals for herself this year, and is working very hard to achieve them. Kylie plays goalie for Pentucket's JV field hockey team. Doogie Mead is an exceptional young talent on the criterion and road racingcircuit throughout New England. He has proven to be a top junior cyclist and isonly getting faster. One of his best results was a podium position at theHousatonic Hills Race in Massachusetts. He will soon be a category 3 racer.
Doogie hopes to become a state trooper. Besides from being a cyclist, Doogie is also a key member of the Pentucket community. He went on the Germany trip, gets good grades, won the battle of the bands, is a participant in the music program, has made the Northeast Junior District Band, and is now on the cross country team, with high hopes for victory and success. He has made honor roll on a multitude of occasions. He was a peer mentor for one year but stopped to help feed the homeless. He does all this while balancing academics, family, and friends. This is Doogie's senior year, and he will be greatly missed by all of Pentucket’s inhabitants. For all of these reasons, I believe that Doogie is a great choice for recognition.

Megan Fields has been a varsity cheerleader for all 4 years at Pentucket High School. She has been consistent by never missing a practice and she has never missed a game. She motivates her peers to strive to be the best, and she is respectful to all. Most of all, she is a loving daughter. She coaches youth cheering and is dependable.

This summer, Jess Geiger and 17 of her friends performed in "Romeo and Juliet" as part of their summer theatre program, Rebel
Shakespeare Company. Rebel Shakespeare is almost 20 years old, and this year, for the first time, the teen students took their show on the road on tour. 10 shows, 5 cities: Lynn, Salem, Marblehead, Haverhill and Newburyport. They brought theatre TO the people in places where people normally don't get to see theatre. The last show of the tour is at Winnekenni Castle on August 27th, the second day of school, at 5pm. This is an amazing and great achievement that Jess and her friends participated in.

Colin Sirois has received outstanding achievements in free style skiing. He wins many local awards and is locally sponsored. Colin should be recognized for his great efforts in a sport that is not a high school sport but still takes great dedication.

My afternoon Honors Biology class is held at the same time that Sarah has a study hall. On those two occasions that I had a substitute, Sarah was able to lead the class in
the work we had done during the morning period, making it possible for my afternoon class to stay on schedule. – Ms. Mccarron
